my internet is up again!
well twas only down for a day, but it feels like so much longer :)

just a quick post, i'll do a proper one tomorrow.

sarah, (i used orange for your name) yep you're spinached too, lol! i'll consider you as my very special cip partner from now on! but you're seriously good at it as in with oldfolks and children as well, i guess actually loving to do it helps.

got pretty pissed when some people want to join ldp because of reasons like " does it replace any sias ", " to add to my portfolio and make it pretty ", all the crap people don't say but we know actually mean. so yep community service rocks my life kuz it makes me feel useful & because im such a darned spoilt brat i need to help the community a bit more. =)

so i know syf's coming next year, and with ldp i'll miss about every friday's cca before syf. but judging by my current (dis) abilities with the bass clarinet i probably won't be involved so it won't be that bad. and even if by some miracle i AM involved, i'll still put ldp first, because the community is way more important than gold with honours right!

sure, i'd love a gold with honours for band whether or not im playing, but what can that measly award do as compared to community service? in a couple years, the old folks at a home might remember and thank me for raising funds for say a television set whereas who the heck would care or remember that nycb got gold with honours '07? getting GWH will bring all nycb-ers to cloud nine but it wont make a difference in their lives the way that i could make to the old folks or physically disabled or children.

because we have so much more than them. (physically speaking, as in we have material wordly goods. but they probably have much more in calibre than we do. )

i dont think any band people read my blog, but if you do, i love nycb and that's truth, but i love community service more. so i guess i'll go ahead with applying for ldp whether or not mr matthewlim & shimin & exco will approve. since im already causing so many problems with my attendance already, according to jialun. and i probably won't get into ldp anyways. plus if i do, i'll cancel my wednesday's cip - peer tutoring at peps! - to prac personally, whether or not im in syf.

right, i've rambled on too much, but my point is ,
YES SARAH, COMMUNITY SERVICE ROCKS ALL!
